Wasn’t ready for how many birds would show up at Loch Gruinart. I figured a few geese—ended up seeing flocks so big they blocked the sun for a minute. Cedar Falls in spring, whole trail’s green and alive. Got a waterfall pic that looked like a postcard (accident, promise).


Old Man’s Cave gets busy weekends, but if you go real early or after dinner you’ll have it mostly to yourself.

I thought I’d be fancy and go wine tasting. Accidentally got on a pedal-powered bar crawl with a bunch of Shakespeare actors. Learned zero about Pinot Noir, but plenty about stage fright.
