Treated myself to a weekend in Eureka Springs and suddenly believe in reincarnation (as a rubber duck in a Victorian tub).
Spa Row is an absolute trip—so many old buildings, one even claims “healing springs” and I got a cucumber water I still dream about.
Downtown has a trolley that feels like it’s powered by sheer Ozark stubbornness. Anyone else almost adopt a stray cat outside Basin Park?

Stayed at the Crescent Hotel last fall. Swear it’s haunted but the hot tub view was legit. Bring bug spray.

Had pie at Mud Street Café and now nothing else measures up. If you like hiking, Black Bass Lake trail is chill but bring good shoes—lots of roots.

Is it weird I liked the springs better at night? Less people, more frogs.

Got a facial and ended up with a whole “crystal healing” session by accident. My skin glowed, but my friend is convinced her room was visited by the ghost of a Victorian dog.

Best way to see the town: rent a bike. Anyone done the Ozark Mountain Ziplines? Worth the money?

Don’t leave without trying the homemade fudge at Two Dumb Dames. Also: be ready for hills! Streets go up, down, sideways—GPS got confused and so did I.
