If you’re ever bored in Tampa, you’re doing it wrong. Ate Cuban toast at 8am, chased by a chicken at noon, met a pirate by 2pm, and by sundown I was at a rooftop bar watching a waterspout on the bay. My kind of weird.

I just came for Gasparilla, woke up with a beaded necklace and no memory of how I acquired a stuffed flamingo. Tampa: more fun than sense. Stay hydrated, bring a raincoat, and never trust a chicken.
