Redwood National Park: Walk Among Giants

Redwood National Park is one of those rare places that actually lives up to the hype—and then towers right over it. My last visit felt like walking through the closest thing to a cathedral built by nature: fog curling around the massive trunks, sunlight filtering through branches older than most countries. I lost cell service within minutes and never missed it once.
Top tip: Start at the Lady Bird Johnson Grove for sunrise—the forest glows, and you’ll have the trails mostly to yourself. I spent half the day just gawking at trees and (not joking) listening to a ranger tell stories about banana slugs. Yes, they're real, and no, you shouldn’t lick them.
Don’t skip the coastal drive on the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway; you might see elk right on the road. I picnicked by Gold Bluffs Beach and watched the mist roll in over the Pacific. Pure magic.
If you've done the Redwoods, what hidden trails or weird roadside attractions did I miss? (Also, who else has “tree tunnel” selfies?)
